This fruity, zesty smoothie bowl makes a wholesome, protein-rich breakfast or morning treat that is simple to put together in as little as 10 minutes.
Ingredients
For the smoothies:
- 450 g (3 cups) frozen mixed berries
- 150 g (1 cup) açai berries
- 800 ml apple juice
To serve
- 4 tbsp black chia seeds
- 150 g (1 cup) blueberries
- 150 g (1 cup) raspberries
- 45 g (1/2 cup) shredded coconut
Method
Step 1.
For the smoothie: Combine the frozen mixed berries, açai berries, and apple juice in a food processor or blender. Blend on high for 2 minutes until smooth.
Step 2.
To serve: Divide the smoothie between bowls. Top with a mixture of chia seeds, blueberries, raspberries, and coconut. Serve straight away.
