Rise and shine with this delicious lime splice smoothie bowl. The refreshing breakfast dish is easy to prepare and is packed with nutritious fruits and veggies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen banana
- 1/4 cup frozen baby spinach cubes
- 1/4 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/4 cup tinned coconut cream
- 1/4 cup fresh pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
To garnish
- 1/2 banana, sliced into discs
- 1/2 cup diced pineapple
- 1 heaped tablespoon toasted coconut flakes
- 1 heaped tablespoon toasted macadamia nuts
Method
Step 1.
Combine all smoothie bowl ingredients in a powerful food processor and blitz until smooth, thick and well combined.
Step 2.
Spoon out into a bowl and garnish with the fresh sliced fruit, coconut and nuts.
